Mini-symposium: Medical and Population Genetics and Genomics

October 28, 2016, SciLifeLab, BMC, Uppsala

This event is part of a series of workshops covering various research themes central for SciLifeLab. The topic of this workshop is Medical and Population Genetics and Genomics, and will take place at SciLifeLab in Uppsala on October 28. There will be ample time for discussion, as the aim is to stimulate collaborations.

Medical and Population Genetics and Genomics
  • Molecular epidemiology of diabetes
  • Decoding the non-coding transcriptome
  • Recombinations, genomic variation and evolution
  • Zebrafish for genetic screening of human disease
  • Modeling gene expression in utero

The minisymposium will highlight a selection of current aspects on genetics and genomics. Presentations represent activities within SciLifeLab that cover various methodologies and model systems of importance for the topic.
