SciLifeLab is a national resource for molecular biosciences with a research focus on health and environment. One of our missions is to work on “research that can contribute to meet major public needs and solve important societal problems.” We believe this is best done in conjunction with other organizations in the area of operation.
This network meeting is intended to create stronger interaction and collaboration between different organizations in Uppsala with mutual interest. This first meeting is aimed at exchanging information on each other’s activities, including technical infrastructure and expertise. Hopefully a number of areas for future collaborations can be identified for further collaboration.
Participants: the National Food Agency, the Medical Products Agency, the National Veterinary Institute, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and SciLifeLab in Uppsala.
