Platforms roadshow: Affinity Proteomics & Bioimaging
Welcome to a workshop about the possibilities to use expertise, technology and reagent resources available at the Affinity Proteomics & Bioimaging platforms at SciLifeLab. The workshop will include seminars presenting our nine national facilitites, a poster session with lunch and/or coffee, followed by bookable personal meetings with representatives from the facilities.
- Establish new interactions and collaborations
- Explore new opportunities and methods
- Expand your research
Registration closes 2 days before each event.
Affinity Proteomics platform
Affinity Proteomics hosts seven facilities, performing large-scale studies of protein levels, structure, function, and properties such as interactions, modifications, expression patterns and subcellular localization of the investigated proteins. The analyses are crucial for understanding biological processes and disease pathways, and they can serve to identify and validate promising new drug targets and diagnostic markers.

- Mass Cytometry Facility
- PLA Proteomics Facility
- Protein and Peptide Arrays Facility
- Tissue Profiling Facility
The Bioimaging platform hosts two facilities for advanced microscopy and spectrometry. The Advanced Light Microscopy (ALM) facility has specialized competence and instrumentation for cellular imaging in super-resolution, including 3D-SIM, PALM, STORM, and STED microscopy. The Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS) facility offers specialized competence and fluorescence fluctuation instrumentation (FCS, FCCS, RICS, PCH) for live cell studies, suitable for monitoring and imaging molecular dynamics and interactions down to a single molecule level.
