New method provides better information on gene expression

A collaboration between professors Joakim Lundeberg, KTH Royal Institute of Technology/SciLifeLab and Jonas Frisén, Karolinsk Institutet, has resulted in a novel high-resolution method for studying which genes are active in a tissue. A great number of scientists connected to SciLifeLab also contributed to the article, which was are published in Science. The method can be used on all types of tissue and is valuable to both preclinical research and cancer diagnostics.
