HTGE is a national SciLifeLab facility based at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics at Solna campus. HTGE offers pooled genetic screening using CRISPR/Cas to the Swedish research community on a fee-for-service, non-profit basis. Customer projects come from all fields of molecular cell biology, and HTGE thus is an interesting and challenging work environment with great opportunities for personal development. HTGE was established in early 2017, and after a successful first year, is now looking to expand its team.

Job description.

Responsibilities will also include general lab management, which is not anticipated to take more than 10% of the full time.

Required skills.
You hold a PhD degree in the life sciences, and have a proven track record of being able to carry out complex scientific experiments. You are an expert in culturing mammalian cells, and you have extensive experience in molecular biology techniques such as DNA isolation, PCR, cloning, etc. You have, or are willing to acquire, basic skills in bioinformatics. You are motivated and enjoy expanding your skill set. You are highly organized, meticulous, self-motivated and you manage your time efficiently. You have excellent communication skills, and are fluent in English.
