Moonshot Suggestions

Moonshot Suggestions

As part of the ongoing work within the SciLifeLab strategic area “Translation to Healthcare”, we are mapping translational excellence areas and ongoing collaborations across Sweden. The purpose of this initiative is to help focus the initial efforts of the cluster “Breakthrough Technologies in Molecular Life Science to Power Precision Medicine and the Future of Healthcare.”
We are collecting information from SciLifeLab platforms, university hospitals, and medical faculties regarding joint translational research activities. The goal is to map existing strengths and identify complementary capabilities across the different sites in Stockholm, Uppsala, Umeå, Linköping, Lund, Gothenburg, and Örebro. This information will help prepare a proposal on how to build national complementarity in the projects that will be driven within the joint precision medicine units that the initiative aims to establish.
Deadline to nominate up to 4 projects (one form filled out per project) per platform, university hospital or medical faculty is April 9th 2026.
