FAQ: RCP call
Q: Who is eligible to apply for a RCP?
A: Any researcher from a Swedish university can apply and be the coordinating PI of a RCP. He/she can be affiliated with either a non-host or a host SciLifeLab university. We also encourage members from other sectors such as healthcare and industry to join as part of a RCP.
Q: I have been asked to be part of several RCP applications, is this possible?
A: There is no limit to the number of RCP applications one researcher or SciLifeLab infrastructure facility/platform can be a part of and can therefore be part of several different RCP applications.
Q: How much funding is SciLifeLab planning to give to an individual RCP and what is this to cover?
A: We are planning an annual budget of about 1 MSEK. This is expected to cover a part-time coordinator as well as coordination and networking activities of each RCP as long as the RCP is active. The funding is not to cover general operating costs such as: consumables and reagents, purchasing of inventories, machinery or other laboratory equipment, rental costs etc.
Q: I have submitted my application but I need to change or add something to it. What do I do?
A: After submitting you application using the web-based form, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your submission. Amendments, alterations and additions to your submission will be possible until the last closing date, 26 Feb 2018 by following this link. This means that you can also leave blank fields and continue filling in these at a later point.
