Organ or organism-level systems biology aims to identify and analyze cellular circuits in 3D. Tissue opacity however often prevents optical imaging of thick tissue samples (>>100’s of micrometers). A solutions to this problem is development of whole-organ or whole-organism tissue-clearing. In this talk I will review our advancements of our optical clearing approach CUBIC and its applications.
