The 8th symposium on Pharmaceutical Profiling in Drug Discovery and Development is hosted by the Department of Pharmacy, Uppsala University. This year’s program is focused on omics, predictive pharmacokinetics and new advances in drug delivery and discovery.
Confirmed keynote speakers are Dr Friedrich Reinhard (Science & Technology Project Manager at Cellzome, a GSK company), who will discuss cutting-edge tools for target identification and target engagement using chemoproteomics and thermal protein profiling; Dr Cecilia Lindskog (Director of the Human tissue Protein Atlas, Uppsala University), who will present the Pathology Atlas, the association of all human genes with patient survival, and other recent milestones and high-profile findings in the Human Protein Atlas project; and Prof Chris Porter (Director of Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Melbourne), who will present strategies to target drug delivery to the lymphatic system and endosomes.focused on advances in pharmaceutical compound profiling, the role of transport proteins in drug disposition, and proteomics in drug discovery and development.
The symposium will be held in the Humanities Theater, English Park Campus, Uppsala University.
