DESCRIPTION:In the frame of the “SciLifeLab Site Umeå / KBC Infrastructure Seminar Series”\, the seminars will be organised every second Tuesday during spring 2023. We provide access and training to a wide range of instruments and techniques\, including widefield\, confocal\, spinning disc\, Tirf microscopy\, FLIM\, FLIM-FRET\, FRAP and super-resolution microscopy on live cells for an optimal spatial and temporal resolution. Furthermore\, the centre provides access to atomic force microscopy (AFM) to generate topographical images and measure mechanical properties of samples. \n\n\n\nAt The Biomolecule Characterization Unit\, we offer a comprehensive suite of cutting-edge technologies to help you gain a deeper understanding of molecular interactions and biomolecular structures. Our platform features state-of-the-art SPR\, ITC\, CD\, and QCMD technologies\, which provide complementary information on biomolecular interactions\, thermodynamics\, kinetics\, and structural characterization.
