The last Friday of September has been designated Researchers’ Night by the European Commission. Across Sweden and all over Europe hundreds of activities are organized to show members of the public how exciting research can be and how relevant science actually is to our daily lives.
SciLifeLab is participating with a full day program at SciLifeLab, inviting senior high school classes to listen to lectures on how to better understand how all organisms relate to each other in the tree of life, how we could decrease the use of fossil fuel using photosynthetic cyanobacteria, how environmental elements affect development of the human immune system, and challenges on understanding the function of all human proteins, as well as guided tours in our laboratories.
