During the last years, the PhD & Post-doc council has contributed to building the SciLifeLab community, and we hope to keep it alive!
Several members of the council are now on the final laps of their PhDs, andtherefore, to keep the council and activities (such as seminars, symposia and social events) running, we are in need of a “NEW GENERATION” of people shaping the PhD and Post-doc Council and taking charge for different projects and general council initiatives. Thus, we need your help!If you are interested and motivated to take initiative, please join us on Zoom on October 8th at 15.30 for a brief recruitment and info event about the activities and the organisational work involved with the council (we will send the Zoom-link next week).Afterwards, there will be an outdoor Kubb-match at 16.00, which will be co-hosted with the SciLifeLab mentor programme.
If you would like to join the physical event, please sign up via the following google form:
If you cannot join the zoom meeting but would still be interested in being part of the council, please drop us an email.
We would also like to emphasize that no prior experience is required and the time invested is fairly minimal as we generally run things quite efficiently. Thus, we hope that many of you will consider taking part!
Join us in building a great Grad-student and Post-doc community at ScilifeLab, be represented and brainstorm about activities that you would like to organize.
Looking forward to meeting you there!
