This third SciLifeLab workshop: Drug Discovery – How are drugs born? is a joint event together with the Trends in Organic Chemistry (TOC), a series of mini-symposia organized by the Division for Organic chemistry, The Swedish Chemical Society.
It seems like it’s harder to develop new drugs – why? The answers are many, and during this symposia you will have the opportunity to listen to a number of pharmaceutical researchers presenting their research and their point of views. Many of the speakers have had projects resulting in commercial pharmaceuticals, all of them have experience from clinical studies. What they also have in common is that they have an academic connection, and are active in small-scale environments. Do these things matter? Yes, maybe!
