SUMMARY:Workshop on Enhancing Cross-Platform Collaboration in Integrative Structural Biology
DESCRIPTION:Integrative Structural Biology (ISB) is a rapidly advancing field that relies on the integration of diverse datasets\, such as those from Cryo-electron microscopy\, X-ray crystallography\, NMR\, Mass spectrometry and Modeling. By integrating different structural techniques we can solve the structure of challenging biological systems\, which wouldn’t be possible using a single type of data. However\, the current landscape is fragmented\, with significant challenges in data interoperability\, tool integration\, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The primary objective of this workshop is to foster cross-platform collaboration by bringing together key stakeholders from experimental and computational platforms. \n\n\n\nThe workshop aims: To facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences\, define the technical and scientific requirements for an Integrative Structural Biology Portal and engage with experts in multimodal data analysis.  \n\n\n\nThis event is organized by SciLifeLab Lund and the Integrated Structural Biology Platform. \n\n\n\nRegister HERE\n\n\n\nScientific Committee:Cecilia Persson\, University of GothenburgEsko Oksanen\, Lund University/ESSNicholas Pearce\, Linköping UniversityWolfgang Knecht\, Lund UniversityWojtek Potrzebowski\, SciLifeLab Lund \n\n\n\nLocal Organizing Committee:Wojtek Potrzebowski\, SciLifeLab LundAnabella Aguilera\, SciLifeLab LundSophie Hellstrand\, SciLifeLab Lund \n\n\n\nSchedule \n\n\n\nDay 1  \n\n\n\n\n12:00 – 13:00 Registration & Lunch  \n\n\n\n\n\n13:00 – 13:10 Welcome\n\n\n\n\n\n13:10 – 13:55 Keynote Harald Schwalbe\, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University\, Frankfurt\, “The future of integrated structural biology – selected examples from the European Integrated Infrastructure: Instruct-ERIC”\n\n\n\n\n\n13:55 – 14:15 Giulio Tesei\, Malmö University\, “Data-driven modeling of intrinsically disordered and multi-domain proteins”  \n\n\n\n\n\n14:15 – 14:30 Nabanita Mandal\, Lund University\, “Unraveling the Conformational Landscape of Amyloid Precursor Protein Intracellular Domain” \n\n\n\n\n\n14:30 – 15:00 Coffee Break\n\n\n\n\n\n15:00 – 15:45 Keynote: Max Bonomi\, Institut Pasteur\, France\, “Probabilistic approaches for integrative structural biology”\n\n\n\n\n\n15:45 – 16:15 Ingemar André\, Lund University\, “How to optimally combine experimental data with molecular modeling to describe the structure of complex protein mixtures in solution”\n\n\n\n\n\n16:15 – 16:30 Malin Bäckström\, University of Gothenburg\, “Protein Production Sweden – a national research infrastructure for protein production”\n\n\n\n\n\n16:30 – 17:15 Bridging the Gaps: Tackling Real-World Challenges in Integrative Structural Biology.
