My research interests are centered around chemical modifications of oligonucleotides that improve their therapeutic potential via solving problems of specific tissue targeting, cellular uptake, and intracellular trafficking. An integral part of the research is active use of polymeric biomaterials in drug delivery through different kinds of polymer-oligonucleotide association (covalent, electrostatic, metal coordination, physical encapsulation).
