Hiroaki Suga, Ph.D.Professor, Department of Chemistry, School of Science, The University of Tokyo

Hiroaki Suga is best known for his work on artificial ribozymes (Flexizyme) and their application in mRNA display (RaPID, random nonstandard peptide integrated discovery). He is also the founder of the very successful drug discovery company PeptiDream, Inc. He was awarded the Wolf Prize in Chemistry in 2023.
