Current Collaboration Partners
Through Industrial PhD projects, our collaborative companies actively participate in cutting-edge research while addressing real-world challenges relevant to their business.
Our industrial PhD students are employed by companies while being academically enrolled at the university, creating a strong bridge between academic excellence and industrial needs. This dual affiliation ensures strong knowledge transfer, long-term competence development, and industrial impact.
In addition to PhD projects, the DDLS Research School supports Postdoctoral projects in collaboration with industry, offering companies the opportunity to host highly qualified researchers. Please see our open call for industrial postdoctoral positions, the deadline is March 31, 2026.

From Matchmaking to Collaboration
In February, the DDLS Research School hosted a successful Industry–Academia Matchmaking Event in collaboration with SwedenBIO, bringing together companies and researchers to explore potential collaborations. The event created a dynamic platform for dialogue and networking. During the event, participating companies presented their businesses, research interests, and innovation challenges in short pitches.
While the event has ended, the matchmaking continues through this webpage. We present the participating companies below and welcome additional expressions of interest to further strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
Interested Companies
Pitch: Sprint Bioscience is a company focusing on small-molecule drug discovery in oncology. We are using our fragment-based drug design (FBDD) platform to develop drug discovery programs with a focus on first-in-class targets. The biology focus of our programs typically lies within the fields of tumor microenvironment, tumor immunity, or synthetic lethality. We are looking for postdoc/PhD candidates and collaborators that can strengthen and complement our in-house capabilities to start and drive our programs, e.g. target identification, compound design, patient stratification etc.

Pitch: ANYO Labs is a drug discovery company developing iScore, an AI platform that screens billions of compounds in hours to identify high-potential drug candidates with a proven 25% hit rate across diverse targets. Our strength lies in delivering rapid, cost-effective hit lists and optimized leads, validated in commercial projects and public benchmarks such as CACHE 6. We are actively seeking academic collaborations for joint discovery programs as well as data integration projects—sharing your experimental datasets to refine our models and accelerate both your research and our platform development.

Pitch: Navinci is a Swedish biotech company specializing in developing innovative solutions for studying protein interactions. Our mission is to advance scientific discovery by providing cutting‑edge technologies in spatial proteomics. Through this postdoctoral fellowship, we aim to identify a candidate who can help deepen and expand the applications of our technology within spatial biology, particularly through quantitative data analysis and AI‑driven methods.

Pitch: Metasafe, founded in 2013, specializes in biotransformation and HRMS-based metabolite analysis for pharmaceutical clients. Building on this expertise, the company has launched chemical exposure analysis services, including adductomics, and is interested in DDLS for potential collaborations in omics data processing, cohort studies for exposure monitoring, and biomarker discovery.
