RIKEN – KI – SciLifeLab Symposium 2026

November 4, 2026 @ 09:00 17:00 CET

Living systems across scales

The RIKEN – KI – SciLifeLab Joint Symposium 2026 will bring together leading researchers from Japan and Sweden to explore how complex biological systems can be understood across spatial, temporal, and functional scales.

The 2026 theme, Living systems across scales, focuses on integrating insights from molecular and cellular biology to tissues, organs, and whole organisms. Particular emphasis will be placed on emerging technologies and approaches, including spatial omics, advanced imaging, and data-driven methods for linking phenotype to function.

The symposium is intended for researchers working across life science disciplines, including molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, imaging, and systems biology, as well as those interested in interdisciplinary and translational perspectives.

Deadline for registration with abstract submission: October 15. Please note that you may register now and submit your abstract later. Abstract submission remains available after you have completed your registration, provided it is submitted by the October 15 deadline.
