SciLifeLab Science Summit

October 14, 2026 @ 09:30 17:00 CEST

The Annual Conference SciLifeLab Science Summit is a one-day symposium with a new topic each year. The 2026 topic is:

Cancer research: translating life science discoveries to clinical breakthroughs

For more than a century, Swedish cancer research has shaped the international scientific landscape, driven by strong academic environments and a deep societal commitment to transforming discoveries into better treatments. From breakthroughs in cancer genomics and tumor biology to advances in immunology and angiogenesis, researchers in Sweden continue to push the boundaries of life science and medicine.

The SciLifeLab Science Summit brings this legacy into the future by uniting world-leading cancer researchers with cutting-edge technologies across genomics, proteomics, imaging, data science, and beyond. The summit creates an inspiring forum where scientific excellence meets societal relevance—fostering collaboration, showcasing groundbreaking research, and highlighting how cancer research continues to reveal fundamental mechanisms of life while driving innovation with real-world impact.
