Research Interest
I am a research leader specializing in proteomics, mass spectrometry, biomarker discovery and systems biology with primary position as Head of Unit for Proteomics Core Facility at the University of Gothenburg’s Sahlgrenska Academy, having an advanced research infrastructure supporting biomedical and clinical research. Experience include both academia and industry, including research positions at AstraZeneca, the University of California, San Francisco, and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in the United States.
The research has focused on Proteomics, Biological mass spectrometry, Glycoproteomics and protein glycosylation, Post-translational modifications, Biomarker discovery for diseases as well as development of national research infrastructure and analytical methods. I enjoy combining scientific expertise with research infrastructure leadership, enabling advanced proteomics research for universities, hospitals, and industry partners across Sweden and internationally.
