A new international cohort joins the Molecular Techniques in Life Science programme
A new cohort of students has started the master programme Molecular Techniques in Life Science at SciLifeLab in Stockholm. The two-year programme is a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University. It combines molecular life science with bioinformatics and programming, preparing students for research and other professional careers in life science.
This year’s cohort brings together students representing more than 15 nationalities, including students from Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Syria, the Czech Republic, Germany, India, China, Georgia, Indonesia, Lithuania, Austria, Poland and Malaysia.
During the first day of the semester, the students were welcomed to SciLifeLab Campus Solna by Hjalmar Brismar, Campus Solna Director, together with Programme Directors Rachel Fisher, Arne Elofsson and Olof Emanuelsson. The event also introduced the programme’s mentoring and alumni activities.
