I’m a Data Engineer (AI). I help researchers in life sciences and healthcare make the most of AI.
My experience blends hands-on software engineering with a theoretical foundation in AI.
I work on data engineering and AI infrastructure for life science research at SciLifeLab, focusing on self-hosted LLMs, research platforms, and making scientific software easier to use in agentic research workflows.
I started out in computational linguistics (also known as NLP or natural language processing) at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, then moved into healthcare AI at Stockholm University. My PhD focused on clinical decision support, using machine learning and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) to improve early detection of sepsis and COVID-19.
Before academia, I built software at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh.
I genuinely enjoy collaborating to solve tough challenges together.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me!
