Introduction to Data Management Practices

National course open for PhD students, postdocs, researchers and other employees within all Swedish universities. This course will introduce important aspects of Research Data Management through a series of lectures and hands-on computer exercises. Prof. Jay Hinton, Professor of Microbial Pathogenesis at the University of Liverpool will summarise the evolutionary pathway of invasive S. Typhimurium across Africa, and explain the value of an integrated functional genomic analysis for understanding how bacterial pathogens cause disease.
