Our group at Uppsala University studies the microbiomes of wildlife, examining how these diverse microbial communities influence the ecology and evolution of their animal hosts. We also frequently investigate the diets of animals by sequencing different genetic targets. We employ various genetic approaches, such as hologenomics, metagenomics, and metabarcoding.
