SciLifeLab’s Co-Director Lena Claesson-Welsh has been named Cancer researcher of the year (Årets cancerforskare) by Cancerfonden and receives 6 million SEK during three years.
“It feels amazing to be named Cancer researcher of the year by Cancerfonden. My research team is trying to understand how blood vessels in tumors are regulated which in turn hopefully will make us able to control the tumor. I want to thank all the donors that makes it possible for us to continue our persistent search for answers.” Said Lena Claesson-Welsh.
