Minister for Social Affairs and Public Health and Minister for Public Administration visits SciLifeLab

On February 16, Minister for Social Affairs and Public Health (Jakob Forssmed) and Minister for Public Administration (Erik Slottner) visited SciLifeLab for a discussion on SciLifeLab as an engine for technology- and data-driven life science in Sweden.

SciLifeLab Chair of the Board, Ylva Engström and Co-Director Mia Phillipson presented an overview of how SciLifeLab work to meet health challenges.

Päivi Östling, Scientific lead for SciLifelab ’s Precision Medicine capability, introduced how SciLifeLab works to contribute to strategic projects for health on a national and European level. Johan Rung, Head of SciLifeLab Data Centre, further discussed the need for expanded and broadened capacity to stimulate and promote open science.
