SciLifeLab in Almedalen 2026
SciLifeLab participated in Almedalsveckan 2026 with a focus on how to leverage technological life science expertise to benefit for the society.
The programme highlighted Sweden’s role in building Europe’s genomics and health data infrastructure, and the need for long-term investment in interoperable platforms, strong research infrastructure, and better integration between research and healthcare. A key theme was how molecular and clinical data more efficiently can be translated more into societal and clinical benefit on a national level.
