SciLifeLab researcher Joakim Lundeberg receives an ERC Advanced Grant

Today, the European Research Council announced the winners of its 2020 Advanced Grants competition and SciLifeLab researcher Joakim Lundeberg (KTH) was one of them. In total, €507 million, will be distributed between 209 leading researchers (seven from Sweden) across Europe.

“It feels incredibly inspiring to get this prestigious grant and be able to invest in new projects that connect molecular technology, bioinformatics and applications”, says Joakim Lundeberg (KTH).

He receives the grant for his project “TWIGA – Tissue-wide identification of genome alterations in Cancer”.
