Visit from Stockholm trio’s Brussels office – showing the SciLifeLab model in Europe

On March 31, a delegation from the Stockholm trio Brussels Office together with representatives of the three universities of the alliance (SU, KI and KTH), visited SciLifeLab for an exchange dialogue and discussions with SciLifeLab management on joint opportunities, increased information exchange and how to make SciLifeLab more visible in Brussels.

The University Alliance Stockholm trio promotes the interaction between different disciplines and raises the quality of the international research and educational environment that the three universities – Karolinska Institutet, KTH and Stockholm University – form in the capital of Sweden.

The Trio is represented in Brussels with two Policy Officers on site, Dan Andrée and Sanna Sjöblom. Furthermore, each one of the alliance members have one scientific advisor connected to the Brussels office; Carolina Kristell (KI), Jenny Wanselius (KTH) and Henrik Aspeborg (SU).

During their visit, they met with SciLifeLab Campus Solna director Per Ljungdahl, Vice Head of Operations Sandra Falck and director of the Clinical Genomics facility Valtteri Wirta.
