Dag Ahrén

I am an Associate Professor and Bioinformatician at Lund University, dedicated to exploring the genetic and genomic mechanisms underlying key ecological and evolutionary processes. My research spans diverse biological systems, encompassing microorganisms, unicellular eukaryotes, fungi, animals, and plants. By integrating cutting-edge genomics and transcriptomics approaches with advanced bioinformatics analyses, I aim to unravel the complexities of these environmentally significant areas of study in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
