The primary aim of the lab is to advance mass spectrometry-based analysis of small molecules and metabolites, integrating lipidomics and metabolomics with quantitative and semi-quantitative mass spectrometry analyses, in various in vivo, ex vivo This approach aims to deepen our understanding of lipid pathways involved in cardiometabolic diseases, with a specific focus on sphingolipid metabolism.
