Research Interest

The Therapeutic Protein Engineering (TPE) unit provides recombinant proteins needed for biochemical screening and therapeutic applications as well as antigens for human antibody production using bacterial and mammalian expression systems. The unit also houses competence and machinery to characterize purified proteins in detail, like binding, stability, and aggregation tendency.

The TPE unit also does phage display selection, characterisation and engineering of antibodies and antibody fragments. We can now also support our biologics projects even further by doing cell line development for antibody drug candidates.
