I work in nanoscience at the interface between physics and biochemistry. Research areas include:

– Development of nanostructured surfaces for the highly sensitive detection of fluorescent biomolecules.
– Single-molecule characterization of artificial protein motors, created by protein design.
– Nanotechnology applications of biological molecular motors
