Professor Johan Malmström is a principle investigator of the infection medicine proteomics group at Lund University. Prof Malmström is also the director for the national infrastructure in biologcial mass spectrometry (BioMS) and one of the PI’s in the Lund University sepsis and bacterial resistance alliance (CombatSepsis). His research focus is to develop and apply proteomics techniques to characterize the molecular mechanisms behind invasive bacterial diseases.
