Kalle is responsible for IT and bioinformatics in the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) program – www.proteinatlas.org. His research involves bioinformatics, systems biology and AI-driven modelling. He is responsible for the use of generative AI within HPA, including the use of AlpaFold to predict protein 3-D structures. From January 2025, he will chair the HPA management group overseeing the deliverables from all research groups funded by HPA (KTH, KI, Uppsala university).
