I study molecular mechanisms of positive-sense RNA virus replication. In this work, my group resides at the intersection of molecular virology, structural biology and membrane trafficking. Our research often has a strong component of cryo-EM, in particular cryo-electron tomography of cells and tissues. In this work, we rely heavily on Umeå Centre for Electron Micrsocopy, a SciLifeLab national facility for cryo-EM.
