Linda Johanssons research encompasses the determination of structure and function of human membrane proteins including GPCRs and transporters. The small size of these currently precludes efficient structure determination, and a large part of the candidate’s current research therefore serve to overcome this barrier by designing novel fiducial markers and establishing innovative data processing protocols.
