The Cryo-EM Swedish Infrastructure Unit offers access to state-of-the-art equipment and expertise in single particle analysis and cryo electron tomography. The Unit has two nodes: at SciLifeLab in Stockholm and at the Umeå Centre for Electron Microscopy (UCEM) at Umeå University. We provide service and user training for all aspects of cryo-EM projects, including project planning, sample preparation, screening, data collection and data analysis.

The UCEM laboratory is equipped with:

• Titan Krios G2 300kV cryo TEM, Falcon 4i Selectris
• Glacios 200kV cryo TEM, Falcon 4i
• Talos 120kV TEM, Ceta CMOS
• Aquilos 2 cryo FIB-SEM
• Thunder cryo widefield microscope
• Vitrobot plunge freezer
• EM GP2 plunge freezer
