My work is focused on two main areas: the genetics of aging and the genetics sex differences, as well as the intersection of these fields. I use Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism, employing a combination of genomics, transcriptomics, and classic genetic and evolutionary approaches. Looking ahead, I plan to expand on these research directions while I also aim to contribute to our understanding of the factors driving variation in germline and somatic mutation rates.
