October 28, 2026 @ 08:30 – October 30, 2026 @ 17:00 CET

Integrating Scales in Planetary Biology 2026 brings together researchers and stakeholders across disciplines to explore how biological processes — from cells to ecosystems — shape the resilience of life on a changing planet.
The conference is designed to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, connecting scientists with industry partners, funders, and policy-makers to translate knowledge into actionable solutions.
Led by Planetary Biology at SciLifeLab, this meeting builds on the momentum of the EMBO workshop “Integrating Cell and Planetary Scales to Address Climate Resilience” (Lisbon, 2025) and aims to strengthen an emerging international community working at the intersection of molecular biology, environmental science, and planetary health.
Highlights of the programme include:
– Scientific talks across disciplines
– Round table discussions on emerging research priorities
– Pitch Slam session
– Panels with funding and policy stakeholders
– Dedicated time for networking and collaboration
