Clinical Genomics Webinar Series
Clinical Genomics Lund is hosting this webinar as part of the Clinical Genomics Platform webinar series
Understanding acute leukemia cellular heterogeneity and therapeutic vulnerabilities using single-cell technologies
Acute leukemia comprises genetically and biologically heterogeneous malignancies that disrupt normal hematopoiesis. While genomic and transcriptomic profiling has improved disease classification and risk stratification, leukemia progression and treatment response are increasingly shaped by complex interactions within a dynamic cellular ecosystem. Despite advances in targeted therapies, treatment resistance and relapse remain major challenges, largely driven by leukemia stem cells that evade current approaches.
This webinar will highlight how recent advances in single-cell sequencing and computational analysis enable high-resolution dissection of leukemic and normal hematopoietic cell populations, revealing cellular heterogeneity, differentiation trajectories, and novel therapeutic vulnerabilities with the potential to improve patient outcomes.
Everyone is welcome so feel free to spread the details with anyone who may be interested. Hope to see you there!
Host: Tina Catela Ivkovic, Head of Unit at Clinical Genomics Lund
