Research interests
The groups research is focused on dissecting the intracellular and molecular mechanisms that regulate natural killer (NK) cell functionality. We are particularly interested in understanding how serial killing capacity is sustained by focusing on signalling input and loading of the cytotoxic arsenal. We are integrating advanced genomic approaches with mechanistic cell biology to study how signalling input is sustained through receptor trafficking and how secretory granules are reloaded in human NK cells. The overall aim is to bridge fundamental NK cell biology with translational applications in cancer immunotherapy.
