SciLifeLab Solna sponsors 6 summer internships to do research in Stockholm at Campus Solna. These are earmarked for students entering the 2^nd year of the SciLifeLab’s Master’s programme in Molecular Techniques in Life Sciences. An internship is an opportunity to get mentorship training from a PhD student or postdoc, and find a future masters project.

Projects will be collected and presented to the students. Students then apply for funding to do their selected project. Six students will be funded based on their academic merits and a motivation letter.

Duration: 6 weeks within July and August 2026
Funding: Salary costs for intern are covered by SciLifelab

Procedure

• PI’s or supervisors submit a short project description for students to browse
• Students select a project to apply for, and write a short motivation letter
• Six students are funded to do their chosen project, based on student merit/project suitability
