“AlphaFold in an HPC environment”
Presenter: Pedro Ojeda May, Application expert, Staff scientist at High Performance Computing Centre North (HPC2N), Umeå University
We will begin with a brief introduction to AlphaFold, followed by an overview of related software for protein structure prediction.
Because these simulations are computationally demanding on a standard PC, we will present a workflow for running them on a High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster, illustrated through several demonstrations.
