First call joint call for seed-money between WASP-HS and DDLS

With the aim to bridge the gap between researchers within the scientific disciplines of the Wallenberg financed program WASP-HS and DDLS, a joint call was announced during summer 2022. WASP-HS and DDLS are now welcoming three new projects.

At the networking session in June 17, where the first step towards collaboration between the programs was taken, a call for seed-money was announced. The call was open to projects led jointly by a researcher from any of the DDLS research areas: Cell-and Molecular Biology, Evolution and Biodiversity, Precision Medicine and Diagnostics, or Epidemiology and Biology of infections, together with a researcher within the WASP-HS research areas: the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems with a strong investment in research in humanities and social science.

500 KSEK has been allocated for funding for each project. All projects are expected to start in 2023 and will run between 12 and 15 months.
