– It is very pleasing and welcome news. The funding is timely and supports our research at SciLifeLab. These are excellent projects that are now receiving this long-term support. The support will allow patients to benefit from the research sooner, said Britt Skogseid, Vice-rector at Uppsala University.
The projects will begin during the fall and are intended to improve our understanding of the molecular mechanisms surrounding tumor disease, heart failure, diabetes, inflammatory diseases, asthma and COPD, CNS diseases and stem cell biology.
