CSI Seminar: Practical Tools for Mental Fitness

We are excited to host a new Coaching in Science Initiative (CSI) Seminar titled: ‘Practical Tools for Mental Fitness’
In today’s fast-paced world, maintaining mental well-being is essential. Join us as we delve into practical strategies and techniques to strengthen your mental resilience, lower stress and process emotions. We will equip you with actionable tools to navigate life’s challenges, including exercises in: mindfulness, cognitive reframing and simple physical practices that can be done anywhere.

On-site location: Gamma 2 lunch room
We will begin with a ~ 20 min talk, held in Solna and over zoom. Then proceed with a reflection and discussion held only on-site. We encourage other sites to form watch parties, by listening in together to the talk and then hold their own discussion afterwards. Hopefully seeding many local chapters of CSI.
To help facilitate discussion and reflection, consider the following starter questions:
Awareness: where do we experience mental fitness in our lives?
Analysis: how well do I currently engage in mental fitness practices?
Alternative: how could we relate to mental fitness, in ourselves and others?
Action: how will knowledge of mental fitness change my decisions going forward?
