SciLifeLab Epigenomics Symposium
November 10, 2025 @ 09:00 – 17:00 CET
Epigenomics is a cornerstone of modern genomics, providing crucial insights into gene regulation and cellular function. The study of epigenetic modifications, such as DNA methylation, histone modifications, and non-coding RNA expression, has revolutionized our understanding of gene activity across diverse biological systems. With advancements in sequencing technologies, researchers can now investigate these modifications at a genome-wide level, both in bulk tissues and at single-cell resolution. When integrated with genomic and transcriptomic data in a multimodal framework, epigenomics offers new perspectives on gene expression regulation with broad applications in ecology, developmental biology, and human health, including cancer and other diseases.
Welcome to a full-day symposium with presentations from leading experts in the epigenomics field.
The symposium will be followed by a four-day hands-on course for 8-12 participants, hosted by the NGI OpenLab (separate registration is needed for the course).
This event is organized in collaboration with NGI, Clinical Genomics and NBIS.
