Bringing life science professionals together and furthering skills in the scientific community are in SciLifeLab’s DNA. Our many events spanning a wide range of topics, present opportunities to develop your know-how and share your own experiences and network – sparking new ideas, as well as new collaborations. All events are free and open to everyone (unless otherwise stated), and we warmly welcome participants from industry, academia, healthcare, and beyond.

This online workshop will showcase how to address the legal aspects of mobilising SARS-CoV-2 genome data across Europe and is specifically designed to cater to organisations acting as regional or national coordinators tasked with brokering data across healthcare systems, research infrastructures and publicly accessible data sharing platforms. It is organised by ELIXIR CONVERGE WP9 in collaboration with SciLifeLab and includes speakers on GDPR and local legislation as well as presentations of solutions adopted and developed by project members.
