The SciLifeLab communications team uses AI-based tools, such as ChatGPT, to generate and simplify text and images, and to enhance clarity and accessibility.

The use of AI supports our news editors, and their expertise and creativity, it does not replace them. Prior to publishing, a person from the communications team approves all final content at scilifelab.se.

We do not use AI when handling sensitive material, such as embargoed articles.

We regularly assess risks related to AI, and update our practices accordingly.
